All children who attend the playground must be registered. Please contact the GAPA Staff if you have any questions about this form or need help filling it in. All records are kept securely and no parent or member of the general public will be given access to records other than those of their own child. You may ask to withdraw your child’s registration from at any time.
Membership must be renewed every 12 months and please inform us if there are any changes to the details held on this form.
There is no charge for the service (unless stated) but we do ask for a voluntary contribution of £10 per child each year. Thank you
Photographs are taken of children on GAPA cameras and iPad and once downloaded securely are deleted daily from all portable devices. If you are visiting GAPA and take photos of your child please do not photograph any other children unless you have consent from the child’s parent/carers and have spoken to a member of the GAPA staff first.
The playground is an open access site. This means that children are free to come and go as they please. The playground may close in an emergency without notice and all children will be asked to leave. Please ensure that your child can arrive and return home safely as no responsibility is accepted for this by the playground or its staff. Access to the playground and all its activities are at the discretion of the playground staff at all times.
GAPA Staff have a duty to help protect children and young people from any form of abuse and to help Safeguard their health and welfare. If we have any concerns about a child’s welfare or safety, we have a responsibility to share this with the appropriate authority. We will always contact parents first to inform them but in some circumstances, this may not be appropriate. See GAPA’s Safeguarding Policy for further details.
